Need some advice? I can help.
Here's where some general questions come up. This is just here for the questions like, "Does he like me?" or "Do I really like him?" So if you think you're question is not so personal, you can ask me to answer it on this page, or maybe yours is already on here!
How can I tell if he likes me?
To be honest ladies, there's no sure fire way to tell if a guy likes you unless you flat out ask him. Now, I know that can lead to embarrassment or drama, but if you really want to know, ask. If you're afraid to ask, here are some signs that he might be interested.
- Body Language: Usually if a guy is interested, he'll tend to point his shoulders or feet toward you. Guys aren't ones to usually touch girls when they flirt.
- Eye Contact: To be honest, when you like someone you usually find yourself looking at them. If he looks at you, he's probably interested. Although, if you lock eyes, he probably likes you more than you originally thought. Especially if he smiles while looking at you.
- Nervousness: Guys rarely ever get nervous, but when they do... they can't hide it. If you can tell a guy is being fidgety around you, like running his fingers through his hair, or playing with his keys, or mumbling, he probably like you. Guys tend to get really nervous around the girl they like because they don't want to do something stupid.
Is he cheating on me?
Are you thinking maybe he's cheating on you? Has he been acting s little shady? Well, here are a few ways to tell. Note: do not just go ask him. If he's doing 3 or more of these things, then ask.
- He cancels his plans with you to "hang out with the guys". More than likely, he's not hanging out the guys. Yes, sometimes he will need a break and just want to hang out with friends, but if its consistent, you should be worried.
- He avoids you. If he usually stops right by the water fountain right before 5th period everyday, but then randomly stops, somethings up. Although he might just be in the office today, or talking to coach, See if this happens all week. If it does, then something might be wrong.
- He leaves you to talk to other girls. Obviously, if you know his best friend is a girl and he says something like, "Oh, I have to go say hey to so-and-so real quick." cut him some slack. He's probably been friends with her awhile. If he ducks out on you to go talk to some girls he rarely ever talks to, then you have a right to be jealous. Just take this one a little easier than the rest, because there is a good chance they're probably just friends.
- He starts attending to your needs more. This one may seem a bit strange, but he's probably guilty. If he starts to buy you girts randomly, or send you "hello beautiful.(:" texts that you normally don't get, he's either noticed you're his world ( unlikely girls, sorry.) or he's feeling really guilty.
- He frequently argues with you about the slightest things. This gives him a chance to get mad at you. Maybe he wants you to dump him, or maybe its because this gives him a reason to walk out on you.
How can I get over them?
Whether you're a girl, or a boy, it takes time to get through
a heart break. I've been through plenty myself. For Girls: Go out! Have fun with the girls! All you need is a girls night out, with LOTS of food! Go to the mall ( and flirt with guys while you're there! ), go to the movies ( and still flirt with guys! ), then go home and talk to you're best friends about it all. All you need is a little intervention. Although sometimes that doesn't work, just be determined. I promise a better guy will Come along.
For guys: Don't do anything stupid. Hooking up with another girl won't make you feel any better. Go out with just the guys and have fun. If you have a girl that you can go talk to ( that you trust with your life ), go to them and let it all out. Sometimes talking helps you guys too.
